at some point this weekend, watching 80s sit com intros on you tube seemed like a great idea. in addition to revealing to brian what a horrifying number of songs i knew (”show me that smile again…oh, show me that smile…”), this has also led to me having a lot of songs in my head lately. this morning i caught myself mouth trumpeting* the theme song to alf.

among others, mr. rogers and fraggle rock were some of my favorites.

*um, mouth trumpet has its own wikipedia entry? and our annual christmas mouth trumpet competition isn’t mentioned? what the heck. i’m flagging that sad excuse for an informative wikipedia entry.
