159.9 miles later
i found out i had been wearing the wrong running shoes, thus my chronic ankle problems. at least that’s what some guy who has run 30 marathons told me. it was the most helpful and informative trip to the shoe store i’ve ever had. not only did i learn a lot, its pretty clear that everyone who works there loves what they do, which was refreshing.
it’s been three weeks (THREE WEEKS) since i’ve been able to take a decent pain-free run and its driving me absolutely crazy.
so goodbye new balance 1023s which are neutral shoes that offer little to no arch support and are too rigid for my supinating, high-arched feet. you will be missed.


i found that when i run marathons here in MI, these are the best

Isn’t Fleet Feet awesome? Huz is the runner in the family and has nothing but good stuff/help there.
